If we have bought a home how can we tell if it is hardi plank or masonite?
The house is 1 and 1/2 years old it appears to be painted with alkalyd exterior paint.
Is it possible it could be clapboard?
How can we tell the difference?
There is some spaces where the joins are maybe a 1/4 inch apart.
